Come join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun. You can expect lots of great people, good conversation, and old-fashioned fun. The picnic is being held at Promontory Park in El Dorado Hills.
A huge grill, filled with coals, will be provided for barbecuing, along with paper plates, napkins, and utensils. A separate smaller grill will be available for our vegetarian / vegan friends. There may even be s'mores if the coals last!
DON'T FORGET TO BRING:
1) Your own meat (or meat substitute / veggies) to grill
2) Your own drinks
3) A potluck dish to share with the group
4) A folding chair (optional, seating is somewhat limited)
5) A blanket to spread on the lawn for the kiddies
6) Your swim clothes and beach towels, since there is water nearby for cooling-off
7) DON'T bring any alcohol
8) DON'T bring soft drinks in glass containers
We will be starting the coals for the grill around 11:30 am.

Please note: Leashed dogs (on a 10', or shorter leash) are allowed in the picnic area, but NOT in the play areas, or on any of the athletic fields.
This a covered, reserved picnic area, with adjacent parking, right next to the play areas (both dry and water), and restrooms. There is no fee for parking.
We will have a raffle at about 2:00pm, in case you have something you would like to donate, and there will even be a very special kid's only prize.
After the raffle is over it would be greatly appreciated if everyone could help clean up as we have to vacate the covered picnic area by 3pm and leave it clean so we can get our deposit back.
There are some caches in the park, and some very nearby, for your pre / post picnic pleasure.
See you there!
