This cache is placed so that you stop and rest while travelling the Pacific Highway.
The cache got its name because we had stopped here for a BBQ with my brother Les, but the grand kids had all called him Legs.
Log Wharf Reserve is situates beside the picturesque Wilson River, the facilities here include a boat ramp & for the lucky few to use, a fish cleaning table.
There are toilets, water, bbq (BYO wood) & plenty of parking.
The Telegraph Point Bridge crosses here, its name is derived from the telegraph line whiched crossed the river here in 1869.
The river had played an important role in the logging of the surrounding forests. The remains of an old wharf can be seen in Log Wharf Reserve.
The cache is a regular size container hidden close by, it contained log book, biro, pencil & a few small swaps.
