This cache is a micro with room for a logbook and pencil only. I love this wee spot with the little pier, it can be busy with anglers so I hid it nearby.
Doolough meaning black lake is very popular with anglers and is one of the deepest lakes in the country.
There is a space to park for a number of vehicles near the pier and from there walk along the roadside past the pier up the hill along the stone wall to where it ends at a stand of pines. Leave the road here & follow the sheep fence towards the lake and off to the right along the fence until you get to where you need to be.
You may need to watch out for some gorse and mud or perhaps even those sheep.
