Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at a historical site in East Newton County, GA. Many people pass by this site each day and don’t realize that it played an integral part in the history of the county.

***PLEASE DO NOT PUSH ON THE DOORS AT THIS SITE, THE ALARM WILL ACTIVATE!***

The Brick Store was built in 1821 and was the first brick building in Newton County. Some interesting facts about The Brick Store, as well as the county, can be found here: (visit link)

The cache container is home to approximately 500 glass marbles and a log book. Sign the log and grab a marble, please don’t leave anything in return, UNLESS you have an interesting marble to add to the collection!

This cache is for the entire family!

Happy Caching!

FYI: There are a few briars in the vicinity of the cache but nothing too scary, you can get in and out without getting maimed!
