Geocache Description:


Since there is a "Hellgate Lookout" I figured there needed to be a "East Missoula Lookout". This spot has a great view of East Missoula, just as the name suggests. There are many different roads to explore in the area so have fun! The cache will be very difficult in the winter, so I might disable it when the snow flies.

***The default map system (MapQuest) that Geocaching.com uses has the road that the cache is located next to mapped wrong. The road is actually just south of the cache by about 10 ft. The cache is located where the road begins to turn east (for the second time) as you are walking towards the cache. If you change the map from MapQuest to My Topo, you will see the road mapped in the correct location. I have also uploaded a map that shows the cache in the correct location (Gallery of Images). Trust your GPSr, it should lead you right to it.***
