Geocache Description:


R.A.F Brookland,

During World War II R.A.F Brookland provided barracking for Rye radar site staff and anti-aircraft gunners.

The camp was about two miles from the Rye radar site that formed part of the ‘Home Chain Command’ that started at Ventnor IOW went along the south coast then up the East coast to the Orkneys. there were 50 in total.'

Later it was an R.A.F dog training camp until 1950.

Then the Phillipine Craft Village (Now closed). If you dont sign the log book dont log it online.
