Geocache Description:


Leonardo da Vinci was a theoretical, technical and scientific painter, sculptor, architect and designer.

He created some of the most famous images of European art. His work influenced generations of artists and although many of his works were not finished and others had not survived, he was considered to be a universal genius.

As a painter, Leonardo used innovative techniques in order to convince viewers of the reality of what they were seeing.

He wanted to inspire ideals of beauty, especially in his portraits and his religious works.

This is a simple slightly artistic cache in a well themed area. There is plenty of space in the car park so park there rather than on road.
