The nearby building has a long history in the area, It was once a Theater, where blockbusters played nightly, later, the owner took out a loan to expand to what was known as the Twin Theater. Shortly thereafter, it closed, due no doubt to the financial strain placed on the owner by the expansion, and the newly opened 6 screen theater in Inverness. It sat empty for years, before being bought and turned into a gas station, which resulted in the demolition of the actual theaters, but leaving the box office/projection building to serve as the store. several years later, the gas station closed, leaving this property abandoned. None the less, I have several fond memories of this location, being the place I saw Star Wars, Dune, and a number of other films as a teenager.
