Remember the Concrete Mode AGAIN! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair or replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me via my profile, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

"Remember the Concrete Mode AGAIN!" is a new listing (traditional cache) at the same hide site previously known simply by the name "Remember the Concrete Mode" (GC1A26Z).  That cache was originally placed as a concrete-themed puzzle cache with eight questions, and finding the answers required searching a related website.  However, that website has been revised extensively, rendering the search for answers hopeless.  Consequently, the original cache has been archived and now republished as a traditional cache.

This is an easy roadside find near a concrete-related site; the cache is a medium sized lock-n-lock box that can easily accommodate Geocoins and Travel Bug's.**

This cache is a requiem for the "Concrete Mode" cache (GC1364R) by The Pilgrim and Tonto. The original Concrete Mode cache was stashed among a maze of stacked concrete highway dividers (see the gallery for photos), but was exposed when the NM Highway and Transportation Department decided to move the barriers to another highway construction site. With the permission of The Pilgrim and Tonto, the cache container was recovered, refurbished, restocked, and relocated ~1.5-2 miles west of the original "Concrete Mode" cache location.

Happy Geocaching!

**A special thanks to Budabeli and TheTechCacher who had replaced the original container after it disintegrated, allowing snow and rain to spoil the contents.  It seems their replacement was destined for a similar fate, so a new container was in order.  Regardless, we sincerely appreciate the generosity of our fellow cachers in maintaining the site.
