Geocache Description:

Water tower #8 Lanham Green - not a well known or famous place but was mentioned in 1317 as Laneham, in 1609 as Lanham, in 1768 as Lavenham and in 1777 as Langham Green until ending up being called Lanham Green

This may only be a small hamlet with a naming issue but it contains yet another fine example of the towers seen in Cold Norton, Maldon and Dunmow. It appears to be out of action and is situated in a fenced off yard used to store trucks and similar. Although this is no excuse not to spend a few minutes just admiring this fine structure!

No tricky puzzles or suchlike here, just a fairly straightforward small click box cache containing a log and a couple of very small trinkets and space enough for trackables.
