Geocache Description:

A cache in a great spot for a picnic. Park in the car park where the road crosses the River Kirkaig, near Achins Bookshop & Coffee Shop. Approx 15mins car to cache.

We decided to place this cache here to compliment the one much further along the path at Kirkaig Falls - (visit link)

This is a really nice spot for a picnic lunch but we must ask you to respect the wishes of any fisherman as they will have paid a considerable sum to fish here!

PLEASE NOTE: If you go through thick vegetation in the Highlands there is a risk of picking up some ticks, especially some very small ones. Unfortunately, under certain weather conditions, this is just part of the Highland experience.
