“Marilyn is amazing” is a camo pill bottle big enough for small travel bugs and other little trade items.
I wanted to place this cache today for my mom as a Mother’s Day appreciation dedication. Since I last visited her this year in January, I’ve managed get her hooked into geocaching. So for her birthday in March, I bought her a gps and a geocaching membership. Before I left my mom’s place that week, we started her off with two hides of her own in the small town of Smith River, CA. We have one located near the river up a few steps of a water tower and had no idea how flooded that area can get. So needless to say, it’s been well underwater and it held on tight until the water receded. The other is a typical hide in a metal pole at her church which we named “God’s Grace”. The amazing part about my mom is how she managed to raise 10 kids without losing it. She had three girls and one boy of her own plus her husband’s six girls. It was kind of living like the Brady bunch all squished into one house. Today, there are 18 grandkids and I don’t know how she keeps up with all the birthdays and such. My mom is very devoted to her husband and church and spends a lot of time volunteering to keep the paperwork in order amongst other things. She’s also been known to sing for the church on occasion and has an amazing voice! I’ve got to say I admire her strength especially after losing her son and one of her husband’s daughters and just recently her most valued family dog. Thanks mom (Grammy) for your big heart, love and support! We love and miss you a bunch, Happy Mother's Day! Congrats to Wyldreams for the FTF!
