Congratulations to 'cats-eyes' as First to Find on 13/05/12!
My first cache in the North and my addition to the vibrant cache culture in the area. A neat little Camo-Nano at Cutthroat Bridge on the A57 between Sheffield and the Ladybower Reservoir. Perfect as part of a walk or a quick cache and dash.
It's quite well hidden purely so the only people who should find it will hopefully be you Cacher's on the hunt. It is located at the start of the footpath heading North-East(ish) from the road. Some GPSs may struggle as the area is surrounded by hills and tree's and did I mention, it is well hidden with the Camo and so on...?
I've picked this spot as I was surprised to find no cache here yet! The bridge's name has an interesting story to it so make sure you check the website for the gory details. (visit link)
Parking is available on the other side of the road to GZ and do TAKE CARE when crossing as many motorists drive quickly along here so keep a close eye on animals and children. The cache is perfect for the start of a walk on up the hill from GZ. There are signs around about nesting seasons and keeping dogs on leads so please adhere to these if they apply and it goes without saying, clean up any mess!
