Dies ist der fünfte von den sechs Caches der Lentasrunde. Sie ist als Wandercache gedacht.
Lentas5 kann aber auch mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Die Gewächshäuser in der Nähe zeigen, dass auch in dieser trockenen und steinigen Region Kretas versucht wird, das milde Klima für die Landwirtschaft zu nutzen.
Das Verbreitungsgebiet der Tamarisken sind der Mittelmeerraum, Asien, China und die Wüsten Afrikas. Sie wachsen auch in trockenen und salzhaltigen Gebieten und wurzeln sehr tief. Sie können bis zu 15 m hoch werden. Ihr Blätter sind in der Lage Salz auszuscheiden.

You can reach Lentas5 by foot or by car on the dust road. Some greenhouses are nearby. Tamarisks grow around the Mediterranean area, in Asia, China, Africa and in dry and saline
regions. They root very deep and reach heights up to 15 ms. Their leaves are able to to exude salt.
Note the number and the letter in the cachebox. You will need it for the bonuscache.
