Providence Nano Series #6(new)- George M. Cohan Sq Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Aerial: Well, as I expected, this one was gone. What I did not expect was that the structure ti was hidden on has been removed. There is nothing else suitably ferric in the square (sadly, the statue is not), so I'm archiving this one.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located in George M. Cohan Square, on the corner of Wickenden and Governor Streets.  A statue in this small plaza  features a bust of George M. Cohan, with a plaque that states: "Son of Providence.  Born July 3, 1878 on Wickenden Street.  Father of American Musical Comedy".

A with all other caches in this series, the container is a blinkie.  Bring a pen.  Sadly, the statue was not ferric, so the cache is offset from it a bit, to a rather less exciting location.  There is parking around, you just have to hunt for it.  Another idea for parking is to park at India Point Park and hit all three Nano Series caches in the area (#15, #16, #6new).  They are only .25 apart total.  Cache is available at all times, but as with all urban caches, please be aware of your surroundings if searching at night.
