Geocache Description:


See the Power of Nature at work... Visit the Columbia River at Fairmont Hot Springs. This cache contains only a log and pencils. You may place small travel bugs in the cache if you like. This area is a high traffic muggler area during the summer and used as a kayak and floaters launch point. Be stealthy when looking for the cache. Parking is available along a side road at the Spruce Grove Campground turnoff. Do not park on the highway. **Warning** Fairmont Hot Springs is frequented by bears usually in the fall season. It is common to encounter bears both in the forests and residential areas including female bears with their cubs. Be Bear aware.
