This is part of a small series concerning some of the basic shapes we learned about in elementary school. We utilize these shapes as we mature.
A square has four equal sides and four equal angles.
A square has a larger area than any other quadrilateral with the same perimeter. The shape of a square is what most people associate with a child’s toy block.
