Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the Winnipeg Revolver & Pistol Association which was established in 1919. This particular piece of property became their home in 1958.

Way back in the day, crackerjackie was friends with an RCMP officer who brought her here to try some target practice with a handgun. Boy, was that fun! And loud! (I forgot to put my ear muffs back on at one point.) Also, once when I was firing the gun a shell casing flew back and bounced off my forehead. They are hot!

And if you were wondering, I did hit the target several times, even when I drew from waist level and fired. I think I still have that paper man shape around somewhere.
