Geocache Description:

This is the third in a small series of caches placed near some of South Dorset's castles. The others are near Portland and Sandsfoot Castles.

Maiden Castle is the largest Iron Age hillfort in Britain, its history dating back six thousand years to Neolithic times. For a more extensive history visit: www.english-heritage.org.uk

Make a note of the information left in the log book from this and the other two caches. It will help find our bonus "Castle Treasure" cache.

This cache has been resurrected from our previous cache of a similar name.

Note: This cache is placed outside the castle site boundary.
