Geocache Description:

Beware of Muggles! Lots of them around here depending on the time of day. Go for a pleasant walk in this CRAZY place.

Have you heard of the Agnews Insane Asylum?...Did you know that's where you're going?...And did you know that crazy people are buried right up on the grassy knoll at the Agnews Cemetery, which is viewable from the cache location?...

During the 1906 San Francisco earthquake the center became infamous as the site of the Santa Clara Valley's greatest loss of life resulting from the quake. The Daily Palo Alto reported: "The position of the people in Agnews is critical; a number of insane persons having escaped from the demolished asylum, are running at random about the country." 117 patients and staff were killed and buried in mass graves on the site. The main building and some others were irreparably damaged.

Cache is ground-level in a clear container with a red screw-top lid. It's a themed collection at the start. There's a log inside, but you'll need to bring a pen.
