Geocache Description:

A half litre lock and lock on the boundary between McMaster University grounds and the RBG Cootes Paradise....

This could be a standalone almost park and grab.... but what we really intend it for is a hiking stop on the way to or from other caches in the Royal Botanical Gardens, South Shore Trails.

To park for free and have a nice 45 minute return walk to here from Westdale, start near the Aviary and walk down the Ravine Road Trail, stopping at a couple of caches enroute. Then continue from this cache, about 100m to the east (along the forest's edge) for an entrance to Chegwin Trail, where you can take the beautiful walk down to the water, the nice boardwalk, and the cache........ Reeds of Chegwin.

(If you must, parking on the University grounds is $5.00 after 5 and weekends, and significantly more during daytime....... if you absolutely HAD to do just this cache, it would be relatively easy to just stop for a couple of minutes... especially if you left someone in the car.)
