Rail Trailing #6 Throwing Stones
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A fairly short three stage multi cache on the Putnam Trail Way in Carmel NY.
This is the sixth in my Rail Trailing series on the Putnam Trail Way. This is a three stage multi in which the first two stages are micros [ROCK CACHES and NOT NECESSARILY FAKE rocks hence the 4 1/2 difficulty] followed by the final being a camouflaged paint ball tube ..................YOU WOULD BE FOOLISH TO NOT USE THE HINT TO FIND THE FIRST STAGE.................. All of the stages are within a stones throw of each other and the final might be a stretch for those who are a little short in stature........ STAGE ONE IS WHERE THE CACHE GETS ITS TERRAIN RATING, so PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP AND BE CAREFUL AS YOU APPROACH................ PLEASE use stealth in your search and PLEASE PUT THE CONTAINERS BACK EXACTLY WHERE YOU FOUND THEM.......* (so I can find them again to do maintenance)*...... and make sure that the cover is snapped on correctly at the final. There is a pen and pencil in the final but it is always a good idea to bring your favorite writing utensil just in case...................As always Have Fun, Be Safe, and Enjoy
