While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

NOR: Denne cachen er plassert like ved den sørlige bommen på Saltfjellet. Er du riktig uheldig og snøværet er for kraftig, kan du risikere å stå her og vente på brøytebilen.

Saltfjellet er et fjellområde i Rana, Saltdal og Beiarn - mellom Dunderlandsdalen i sør og Saltdal i nord, Svartisen i vest og Sverige i øst.
Saltfjellet utgjør et viddelignende område med vide daler og oftest avrunde fjell i øst, mens den vestlige delen er mer kupert og har større høydeforskjeller. Mange morenerygger viser isens tilbaketrekning under siste istid.
Høyeste fjell er Ølfjellet (1751 moh.) i Saltdal.
Bortsett fra dalførene, hvor det finnes noe bjørk, er Saltfjellet skogløst.

ENG: You can find this cache near the southern crossbar at Saltfjellet. If you are really unfortunate in the winter and the snow conditions are bad, you just might have to wait here for the snow plow.

Saltfjellet is a highland in the counties of Rana, Saltdal and Beiarn - between the valley Dunderlandsdalen from south to Saltdal at north, the glacier Svartisen from west to Sweeden at east.
Saltfjellet is a plateau-like area with wide valleys and mostly rounded mountains to the east, while the western part is more rugged and have a greater height differences. Many moraines are proof of ice retreat during the last ice age.
The highest mountain is Ølfjellet (1751 m.) in Saltdal.
Saltfjellet is treeless, apart from the valleys, where there are birch.
