Geocache Description:

Dies ist der dritte Cache der Lentasrunde, die aus sechs Caches und einem Bonus besteht. Die Lentasrunde ist als Wanderung gedacht. Lentas3 kann mit dem Auto nicht erreicht werden. Parkmöglichkeit besteht aber in der Nähe bei N 34° 56.144 E 024° 56.144

Vom Cache Lentas2 führt ein schmaler und teilweise ausgesetzter Pfad oberhalb des Strandes weiter nach Osten. Hier ist der Strand ein reiner Felsenstrand mit großen, vom Wasser rund geschliffenen Steinen. Die Bedeutung von Zisternen war früher in Kreta sehr groß, da das Regenwasser des Winters für  die trockene Jahreszeit gesammelt werden musste. Jetzt sieht man fast überall die schwarzen Kunststoffrohre, in denen Wasser zur landwirtschaftlichen Nutzung geleitet wird. Am Strand baden in der Sommerzeit gerne Muggels! Notiere für den Bonuscache den Buchstaben und die Zahl in der Box.

From the cache Lentas2 a small and particullary exposed path leads upside the coast to east. The coast consists of rocks and stones. Formerly cisterns were important for having water all over the year. Note the letter and the number in the cache-box. You will need it for the bonus-cache. Attention: Bathing muggles!
