This is the last of the Trains & Boats & Planes caches going east to west along the Union Canal or the first going west to east! Standing here for about ten minutes I guarantee you will see at least two of them and plenty of cars, buses and lorries. You are very near the M8 motorway and it can be very noisy at peak times. Saturday and Sundays in the summer months are the best for seeing boats, canoes or barges.
Walking on west and north you will arrive in Broxburn. Walking on South East will take you to the Almond Valley and the Aqueduct.
