The canal crosses the B7030 road near this cache. There is easy access and parking available on the side road between the motorway and the canal.
Near the bridge, next to the canal on both sides, large metal plates are stored to slot in and block off the canal to drain it needed, I presume. Maybe you can tell me more as to how or why this needs done.
