Cape Sōya is the northernmost point of the Hokkaidō, Japan.
It is also the northernmost point in Japan which is open to the public.
The true northernmost point of Japan is a small deserted island, called "Bentenjima".
1 km northwest from cape Sōya.
This cache is located on the northernmost of Japan.
It has been hidden in the park, on top of the hill. Please bring a pen.

宗谷岬（そうやみさき）は、北海道の稚内市の北にある岬です。
また日本本土の最北端でもあって、一般に行ける場所としては宗谷岬が日本の最も北の端に位置する場所でもあります。
（施政下の最北端は写真左上にある弁天島ですが、通常では行くことができません。 N 45°31.550 E 141°55.150 ）
キャッシュは宗谷岬公園内にある『大岬旧海軍望楼跡』に隠されています。雪が積もると探すのが難しいかもしれません。
