"Gli Acquedotti in Rovina della Foresta" Traditional Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

A Bison Tube hanging from a tree in this mysterious area that was found. It really is a fun adventure but be willing to travel. BYOP, LOG ONLY.
This cache title translates roughly into "The aqueduct in ruins by the forest." we just thought it sounded so much more majestic in Italian.
This cache is not difficult to find or difficult to get to, what is exciting is the view and the area around it. In order to get to this cache, you need to visit the Lowes on Business RT 1. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE FROM I-95 IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Cache is suspended with a zip-tie and has not been nailed, screwed or drilled into any part of nature. This cache is a log only so BYOP.
The lore behind this cache was told to Paradox and Me from our caching companion who does not cache but accompanies us on adventures, Mr. Scooter Roadbird. Scooter told us about this wonderful adventure he once had while exploring the lands behind the Lowes on RT-1. Naturally, Paradox and I were excited and determined to put something out here if it lived up to Scooters story. Rumor had it, a mysterious hike through majestic trees, a journey through a forbidden forest to an aqueduct that lays in ruins.
As stated before, this cache is impossible to reach from I-95, do not try it, or even attempt it. Parking is available at the Lowes on Business RT-1. Park in the front of the store and walk on foot around to the back. Park on the side where contractors go to load wood and ect as the entrance to the trail is closer there. Begin walking to the rear of Lowes following the fence line. Around the halfway point of the backside of the building you will see a stone wall accending with the fence, there is a break in the fence here, this is your entrance.
The grass is discolored, slightly worn in from foot traffic, it will take you down along the tree line to an opening and trail. Follow the trail until it takes you through an old broken wire fence, which will lead you to the aqueduct, a half pipe of sorts. The cache is hidden here along this cement pathway. You may have to stand on the aqueduct in order to reach it. Good Luck friends.
