Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for the CCARS12 event, held May 26-27, 2012. It should not be found prior to noon on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Caches for the CCARS12 event are released early so the geocaching community can plan their routes prior to the event start.



Welcome to Griffith Woods! This is one of my favourite biking destinations, and after some biking I found a really cool unnoticed spot. There are creeks everywhere in Griffith woods, and many of them are quaint and almost non-existent, hence the name for the cache 'quaint quest'.

Please don't attempt by stroller or wheelchair. A bike may be useful to get you near the cache site, but you won't get you far after. The cache is actually hidden on the other side of this creek. I have set some waypoints to help guide you on your quest - one at the parking lot (at the beginning of the paved pathway), one for the trailhead off the paved path, and one where I crossed the creek to hide the cache. Be prepared in case you accidentally (or purposely) get wet. You can take the short way and get wet, or take the scenic way and stay dry.

The cache itself is a black bison tube right on the water's edge hidden well - from above. There is no room for a pencil, so BYOP. Enjoy the scenery, and don't get wet!
