Saturday September 29th 11-4pm and Sunday September 30th May 11-4pm.
The National Trust are holding a Geocaching weekend on saturday September 29th and Sunday September 30th and have several GPS units to lend out to anyone who wants to give geocaching a try, so bring your friends and family with you!
Sign the log book at the National Trust desk by the tearoom to show that you were at the Event. If you fancy meeting up with some other geocachers for lunch then bring a picnic & picnic blanket and make your way over to:
N 52° 11.376 W 002° 27.663 It's a bug's life for 1.30pm. If the weather is less favourable then lurk outside the tea room instead! Please post your intentions to join in the picnic so we know who to look out for!
There are already some fun hides placed on the estate and there will be some new ones published (hopefully!) in time for the event.
The National Trust event is free of charge. If you print out any of the details of caches on the estate and show them at the gate, you will be given free admission to the estate and pay parking only (£2.90). (Entry and parking for NT members is free of charge). Normal admission prices to Lower Brockhampton and the medieval manor house still apply. – see www.nationaltrust.org.uk/brockhampton for details.
