This series offers you the opportunity to see and explore the beautiful mountain wilderness of Mid Wales known as the Elan Valley. You can also add our Dam It series to your journey and find other caches along these routes.
Here at our Elan Mt Rd series No 8 the Elan River reaches the northern tip of Craig Goch Reservoir in the valley below which was formed by damming the Elan River 4 miles downstream.
We would like to give grateful thanks to the Elan Valley Trust and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water for their kind permission to allow us to place this series of caches on their land.
