Geocache Description:


Welcome back to the Cawthra-Mulock Nature Preserve. The posted co-ordinates are for the East Parking lot, which is probably the easiest access to this Preserve.

This area is fast becoming a favourite for Geocachers.
My first attempt at publishing a puzzle cache will take you back here again.
Your search will take you on a 1.6 mile/2.56 km circuit (NOT including the distances from the parking lots to the nearest junction of the two trails) of “Rue Rouge” and “Rue Jaune”.

Along your travels you will encounter four interpretation and/or information signs.
From these you will garner the co-ordinates for the final.
N44 and W79 can be presumed.

- (A) How many “fluvial specialists” are there?
- (B-C) The eggs of the mentioned butterfly take how many days to hatch?
- (D) How many freshwater mussels are mentioned?
- (E) In 185x there were 20 mills in the area. What is the value of “x”?
- (F) How old (in decades) was Dianne Slyford when she died?
- (G) How many food sources are mentioned for the Buteo Lineatus?
- (H) How many trees are “dotted throughout the field”?

A great circuitous trail route from the east end parking area. Room for small trackables. Because of the heavy tree cover at the Final, I have added a little better hint to assist you.
