This event will take place on the Missouri River and on Goat Island. Please add this event to your watchlist to make sure you get any and all updates.
You may use any means of transportation to get to the location. Although canoes and kayaks are recomended, they are not required to attend this event.
If you have an extra canoe or kayak you are willing to lend out, please post a note for those who are looking.
The Adventure is scheduled for June 2, 2012. We will meet at Highlines Park to the south west of Vermillion, SD (see Additional Waypoints below) at 8-8:30am. This will be the initial meeting place. This will also be the starting point. After we meet at this location, some vehicles will be brought to Clay County Park.
The log will be signed ON Goat Island, so only those making the trip will be able to log this event. Please post a "Will Attend" log if you plan to join us.
There are 30(+) caches in the area and more are planned for the event. This event will be a maintenance trip aswell as hiding and finding caches.
