Located in the beautiful natural wetlands area on the east side of Monterey Park. Should be easy to find, but getting to it will be tricky.
Located on the far side of the wetlands a few hundred metres from GC27A38. There is a great view from here across the wetland toward the other cache and the board walks.
Since the park opened as an interpretive centre we have been hiking in the area and looking forward to other cachers experiencing the great parkland along the east side of the city. There are long bike paths stretching all along Stoney Trail on the east side of the city.
The cache is not along the trail. To preserve the wetland, follow the tire tracks along the fence line until you are close enough to approach the cache. You will likely encounter knee high and higher thistles.
There has been some wildlife in the area (possible to encounter coyotes in the greenway).
Do not park along Stoney Trail. There is a big fence separating the greenway and wetlands from Stoney Trail.
First time find will be rewarded with a NANO by HEXBUG.
