The Goonies are a group of friends from the Goon Docks in Astoria, Oregon. They are led by the youngest of the Walsh brothers, Michael “Mikey” Walsh; misunderstood, optimistic, asthmatic, motivated. His family faces eviction. Homes will be demolished, unless enough money is raised to stop the construction of the golf course.

Mikey is determined to save the Goon Docks.
