Bridge 199 traverses Kent Street and is situated on the long haul up from Picton, to the saddle at Elevation. This happened to be one of the two steepest gradients in the eventual trunk line between Picton, and Bluff. Cache close to a quiet road but still keep a lookout for cars. on the left hand side of bridge - hill side going up the street towards the bridge. Easy Access via Kakapo Rise DO NOT ATTEMPT IF THE TRAIN IS COMMING!
