Enjoy a walk along the lower Taieri River along the Taieri Millenium Walkway.
An 8km well formed and metal track connects Taieri Ferry Road and Taieri Mouth. Great views of the Taieri River from the tracks high points and an abundance of birdlife can be seen and heard.
The cache is less than one hour return walk from the carpark. Another option is to continue along the track to the other caches. This cache, a small screw plastic container hidden in a rocky outcrop at the edge of the track not far from a long boardwalk which crosses muddy creek. BYOP. Take care to rehide behind rocks,
