Geocache Description:

Carrick is a small historic village 17 kilometres (11 mi) from Launceston, Tasmania, Australia, on the banks of the Liffey River. It has a well-preserved 19th century heritage; fifteen of it's colonial buildings are listed on the Tasmanian Heritage Register including Carrick House (1840), St Andrew's Church (1848), the Old Watch house (1837), and the Carrick Hotel (c1833).

Sadly Carrick is a bit of a ghost town since it was bypassed by the highway, so turn off and take the scenic route! This little known spot has gas bbq's and is beside the Liffey River.
Cache is honey bucket with log and swaps - please be sure to seal the lid properley when you replace the cache.
