Geocache Description:

Cache placed by 1st Swindon Sea Scouts

Seven Fields Nature Reserve

Situated in North Swindon, in a valley surrounded by the communities of Penhill, Greenmeadow, Haydon Wick, Abbey Meads, Whitworth and close to Haydon View, Pinehurst, Rodbourne Cheney and Upper Stratton and well used for walking, cycling and the quiet enjoyment of nature.

Did you know? Between 12th October, and 30th November 1917 the Children picked 2,000lb of blackberries for the Army and Navy and then in 1939 - 45 Dad's Army practised in the area!

Part of this terms work is all about map reading and the cubs have decided to hide some caches in the lovely part of Swindon. We hope you enjoy finding them as much as we did in hiding them.
