Welcome to Vermillion Park! Dauphin's beautiful green space. . . Great place to spend time with your family. Vermillion is also home to Wood Ducks. What better place to have a cache about Wood Ducks and a tribute to the boys from Duck Dynasty! Enjoy a short walk to find the cache.
Vermillion Park features over 200 campsites, picnic sites, wildlife, 3 km of lit trails, and an on-site camp host who is present 24 hours a day during the summer months. A new playground and splash park is coming soon. Ducks call Vermillion park their home, along with many other animals. You will probably see them swimming in the creek and hanging out in the many man-made nests throughout the park. Duck Dynasty follows the Robertson Family. They started the Duck Commander company and has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood. This cache spotlights Jase Robertson. Jase is Willie’s brother and his polar opposite. While Willie enjoys making deals behind the desk, Jase would much rather call the swamp his office. But he knows he’s gotta earn his keep, so Jase’s job within the company is to fabricate the duck calls that have made Duck Commander famous. The original small cache was muggled so we had to move the cache and change the size. It contains a logbook only. Bring your own writing stick.
