Cache is located near two veterans memorials in San Juan Capistrano. Please respect these memorials as you look for the cache. Cache is NOT in or on either memorial, but nearby. Please take a moment and honor those who have given their lives to preserve our country's freedoms.
Cache is log only, so bring something to write with.
The first memorial is a memorial dedicated to service members from Capistrano Valley who have given their lives in the service of their country.
The second is a memorial to the tankers of 2nd Battalion, 34th armor regiment.
Both are quite nice memorials and I wonder why they are so hidden at the end of this seldom-visited parking lot. I wish they were in a park or someplace where more people could see them.
