This cache is placed as part of the New York State Park Saratoga/Capital District Region Geocache Challenge. It is easy access from the parking lot to the trail system which is where you will find the Geocache. Peebles Island is 138 acres; make sure you take the time to stroll the two-mile perimeter trail to take in the great views.
This cache is placed as part of the New York State Park Saratoga/Capital District Region Geocache Challenge. There are 44 geocaches hidden within 11 state parks and state historic sites in the Saratoga/Capital District region, and geocachers finding them will be eligible to enter their names in a drawing for valuable prizes. If you are interested in taking up the challenge, you can pick up a geocaches passport at any of the participating parks and sites, or download the passport at www.nysparks.com.
This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to stamp your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item. The items in this container are souvenirs and do not need to be replaced with a trade item.
It is easy access from the parking lot to the trail system which is where you will find the Geocache. Follow the GPS until you find the kiosk. Written somewhere on this kiosk, you will find the letterboxing clues that will bring you the rest of the way to the cache!
Weekdays from 8:30a.m. until 4:30 p.m. clues to the special cache are available in the reception area of the main buildings on the park.
