Geocache Description:

Depending where you look, some say there are clues of the high desert valley once being covered with water, maybe millions of years ago... if so, I wonder if there were any log jams formed as the water receded... ??

REVISED COORDINATES (moved 3 feet south):
N 034 30.010, W 118 03.983

This cache is located in the high desert, accessed off a utility road about a mile off Mt Emma Rd.

The roadway surface is dirt with some rocks more suitable to high clearance vehicles, but standard clearance 2wd cars will probably have no problem. There is a short hike required to reach GZ with rocks, fauna, and resident animal life (including poisonous snakes) possible in the area, so be careful.

The cache is a uniquely shaped plastic container measuring about 1x2x6" with a "press-to-close" lid (no snap), so please press the cover tightly to re-seal. Inside, it has a small waterproof logbook and pencil, with a tracking bug and two silver coins - from Mexico and the Cayman Islands - available for FTF.

There are very nice views of the Antelope Valley and surrounding hills from this area, for visitors with a camera.

Good luck!!

(This is my first cache hide, so any feedback is greatly appreciated!)
