CLEAN UP at 9 AM,
Cache In Trash Out Day is an opportunity for geocachers to help clean up the parks and other cache-friendly places throughout the world. Through our volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources. The park is pretty nice but the Groton State Parks dept will give us a list of areas that need trail work or other maintenance projects such as painting or raking which they could use our help with. We will provide trash bags. Bring your own gloves and work clothes. There are out-houses but no running water..
If you are not able to come early enough to help with the clean up, come anyway, have a bite to eat, enjoy the company and meet your fellow cachers.

POTLUCK at Noon We will have a grill available from 11:30 am on, for anyone to use to cook hotdogs, burgers, steaks or whatever. Let me know what you can bring so we don't end up with a bunch of the same stuff. We will provide some hotdogs or you can bring your own meats for the grill.
