WWFM – World Wide Flash Mobs – A fun and friendly way to promote geocaching around the world. Thousands of geocachers at hundreds of coordinated events spanning the globe, gathering at the same time. This is the 9th in the series of official WWFM.
What is a "Flash Mob" Event?
A "Flash Mob" is a Gathering of Geocachers, Lasting only 15 minutes! Cachers arrive at a predetermined location at exactly a predetermined time, sign a log, take a group picture and then disperse after 15 Minutes.
Attending and logging this event gives you a special souvenir. Our WWFM event will begin precisely at 11:00am on June 9th, 2012.
Please come join your hosts, Rocky Mountain DGS, and Manitou_Cacher, on a tiny little island in the middle of a very nice park!
GCCO has provided us with 1 GCCO 2011 Gold Geo Coin to give away in a free drawing. Each attendee will be given 1 free chance to win it.
We will also have a few of the BRAND NEW 2012 GCCO Silver Geo Coins for sale at the event, for $10 each.
We are hosting this event for those that are unable to attend one of the 2 other GCCO Supported Events in Colorado on this day, due to driving distances and gas costs. Here are the other 2 events you could attend:
