Our first cache and placed with permission by the rangers at Black Park
The cache is our first and we have tried to make it challenging but fun. Getting a satellite fix under the trees was not always easy, but the gps coordinates given are +\- 9 feet. We will upload a picture or two that may help if you have difficulty.
The area is okay for children but not wheelchairs. The cache is within about 50 feet of a main path but you do have to venture into the woods a bit and explore, but it is free of brambles, nettles, mud and such like.
Parking is available in the main car park ( probably slightly closer) or free along the road running to north - Fulmer Common Road. This is useful in the winter when the main car park shuts earlier.
We have out a nice range of items in the box to get it started including a first to find badge. As we hope lots of children will do this while enjoying the rest of the park, please trade fairly or preferably up so there are fun things to find - come prepared :-)
