For Daisy's 11th birthday we spent the day doing outside activities, so we put out a new cache to introduce her friends to geocaching.
A short walk along a footpath between Markfield lane and the A50 Markfield Road place near a new planting(planted in 2006) in the National Forest. There are badgers, deer and plenty of crows around with lots of wild flowers in bloom from late May into June.
The container is a large plastic click clack box with camo tape and is filled with lots of swag, a pencil and a large note book.
Parking is nearby in the gate way latitude: 52. 40' 10.3" longitude 1. 16' 15.5" but beware as big tractors may use this entrance when harvesting crops.
