Doris and George Visit Rachel
STNY is an acronym representing the movie title Same Time Next Year. It features Doris and George as the main characters who meet back at the same place every year. We thought it would be fun and entertaining for the ET Trail cachers (some of us who do, indeed, come back again… and again!) to have a little series of caches in honor of our "anniversaries" of caching the ET Highway and other Nevada trails. We hope you will enjoy their various escapades and mis-adventures and that you, too, may return to this beautiful place in the desert someday.
Doris and George are taking a little road trip through southern Nevada. In this particular life segment they decide to visit the little town of Rachel. It's right in the heart of "alien territory" and very near Area 51. Doris and George must be very careful. They have a fun visit to this quaint little town, they pick up some souvenier t-shirts and even enjoy an alien burger at the local diner. After their visit they hid a small canister and asked anyone passing through to find and sign the paper they left in there. They hope to come back on one of their future anniversaries and see who else visited this great little oasis in the desert. Won't you find and sign their hidden note?
