Doris and George Can't Find The Cottage
Doris and George are two characters from the movie, Same Time Next Year. We thought it would be appropriately fun and entertaining for the ET Trail cachers (some of us who do, indeed, come back again… and again!) to have a little series of caches in honor of our "anniversaries" of caching the ET Highway and other Nevada trails. We hope you will enjoy the various Doris and George escapades and that you, too, may return to this beautiful place in the desert someday.
As Doris and George drive around in the Nevada desert, they have difficulties with their navigation systems. Remember, they didn’t have GPSrs back in the early 70s. So, while they THINK they remember where the cottage is, they can’t seem to find it. They think they might have left the coordinates on a piece of paper in a film can - hidden under a pile of rocks. Maybe you can find the film can and help Doris and George find their way back to the cottage. We’re sure they are tired of wandering around in the desert.
