Doris and George Wonder Where the Water Went
Doris and George are two characters from the movie, Same Time Next Year. We thought it would be appropriately fun and entertaining for the ET Trail cachers (some of us who do, indeed, come back again… and again!) to have a little series of caches in honor of our "anniversaries" of caching the ET Highway and other Nevada trails. We hope you will enjoy the various Doris and George escapades and that you, too, may return to this beautiful place in the desert someday.
The setting for the movie featuring Doris and George is a quaint little cottage along coastal California. Doris is quite concerned that she can no longer see the ocean and she fears they may be lost. No Doris, that is NOT the Pacific Ocean - that would be Groom Lake and it’s on Restricted Land - DO NOT go there Doris... It’s OK, Doris - the Pacific Ocean is still where you left it.
